About this puzzle
Lake depth is one of those records where the famous answer and the surprising answers sit side by side. One entry on this list is technically a sea, one is buried under miles of Antarctic ice, and one holds more fresh water than all the Great Lakes combined. O'Higgins/San Martín is the deepest lake in the Americas and slips in just ahead of Lake Malawi.
