Sports shots by fastest recorded speed

About this puzzle
How fast a shot feels depends on reaction time, not speed - and reaction time depends on distance. A slow projectile crossing a short table can leave a player less time than a fast one crossing a stadium, which makes ranking these by raw recorded speed a genuinely counterintuitive exercise. Figures are the fastest tracked or recorded speeds, in miles per hour.
