Most consecutive rounds at par or lower in PGA Tour history

Archive plays are unscored and do not affect your streak or today's leaderboard.

About this puzzle

Golf resists streaks - conditions, courses, and fields change every week - which is why the PGA Tour's consecutive-rounds leaderboard is one of the strangest records in sports. This puzzle ranks the five longest runs of rounds at par or lower since 1983, and the names are the surprise: the top spot belongs to the era's most dominant player, but two of the five were journeymen who simply refused to shoot a bad round for months. The spoiler is how far ahead number one is - no one else has come within ten rounds.
