About this puzzle
The deepest places on Earth aren't in the ocean - they're caves, and four of the five deepest ever found sit in the same mountain range in Abkhazia. This puzzle ranks the five deepest known caves, and reaching the bottom of the leader takes a team about a week of descending. The only entry outside the Caucasus is a French Alpine cave that connects underground to a rival system.
